Disk Replacement Procedures

• Disk failures will be logged to console, root is emailed and VXVM will attempt hot-relocation.

• Vxdiskadm -4:Remove Failing Disk for Replacement

• Replace failed hardware

• vxdiskadm -5: Replace Failed or Removed Disk

• If mirrored, volume will begin to sync up automatically
