/opt/ignite/data/Rel_{release}/config
Contain the defaulst disk layouts for the various 10.x and 11 releases
/var/opt/ignite/data/ Rel_{release}/*
describe the software available from SD depots and from archives created in tar and cpio formats. These files are created from the make_config command or created by customizing an example loacated in /opt/ignite/data/examples
/var/opt/ignite/config.local
Defaults which apply to every machine installed, ie if you want to specify the same NIS domain for all machines you would place the overrids in this file.
/opt/ignite/boot/INSTALLFS
Contains boot control parameters and networking information of the Ignite-UX server. Information is added or deleted from this file with the instl_adm command
/var/opt/ignite/clients/0x{LLA}config
File created with the installation of each client. LLA is the link-level address of the client. Contains any customization created as a result of selecting differnent options on the install tabs.
/var/opt/ignite/saved_cfgs/*
Named configurations created by saving a configuration via the UI. These configurations can then be used in subsequent installations of similar machines. Good for cloning an installation. Broadcom is an example.
