• Speed: an automated installation can run much faster than an install which asks for Administrator interaction several times during the process.

• Replicate: This allows “scalability through cloneability.” Using an automated installation will help ensure consistency while still allowing using classes of machine installs based on usage

• Once a machine profile has been created by a senior administrator, less skills will be required to do the actual installs. This gives a task that can be delegated to the junior staff, while still guaranteeing a certain level of quality.
