Twin Cities Systems Administrators (TCSA)

The purpose of the Twin Cities System Administrators (TCSA) group is to advance the practice of system administration in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota.

The TCSA group meets monthly to discuss topics of interest to system and network administrators. The meetings are free and open to the public.

Next Meeting

Date: January 19, 2012 7:00 pm
Subject: System Administration Automation
Speaker: Group discussion

Synopsis:

Our continuing discussion of Cfengine3 and Puppet is delayed for a month, as I've gotten only one sample of Cfengine3 configuration for ntp.conf. I'd like to still have this discussion in February if we can get some more samples for Cfengine3 and Puppet before then.

For the January meeting, we'll have a group discussion of automation techniques that people are using. I'll share some of my methods for managing systems and automation.

TCSA meetings are on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm, and are free and open to the public.

We will meet at McAfee's St. Paul location at 2340 Energy Park Drive.
